About Trish
Trish brings a unique view of the marketing function to her customers along with impressive breadth and depth of experience. Her expertise resides specifically in marketing services rather than products—a key distinction that many marketing consultants do not make and that requires a particular set of skills and tools. A marketing iconoclast, Trish is a staunch believer that marketing must focus on revenue generation and be accountable for results. Further, she views marketing as a human communication function, and therefore includes services that may not necessarily be considered “marketing” in the stereotypic sense of the word. Finally, Trish focuses on doing more with less—that is, leveraging marketing dollars and resources as much as possible rather than succumbing to the belief that marketing has to cost a lot to be effective. Trish brings over 25 years of business experience with small and large service firms in a variety of industries to her role with 4-R. In the 1980s, she owned Brandywine Associates, a computer consulting firm that helped businesses incorporate desktop computers into their work environments. She also owned International Creative Action Network, a marketing agency that was one of the first in the industry to use desktop publishing as a viable means for companies to optimize their investment in marketing communications. After selling both companies, she worked for a Fortune 500 technology services firm across a wide range of marketing and communication fields, and was responsible for launching a number of innovative and useful programs to support multi-million dollar IT programs. An accomplished speaker, Trish is a highly effective meeting facilitator and trainer. Her high energy, entertaining style, and articulate delivery ensure that attendees remain engaged with the material and scope of the sessions she manages. In addition, Trish is an experienced trade show and event manager; she manages logistics transparently while making sure that the event is meeting its business goals. With nearly a decade of top results under her belt from the corporate world, Trish has returned to what interests her most—helping small/medium service businesses create revenues through marketing programs without paying unnecessarily high costs to do so.
